In response to a request for information or further
instructions, one may receive a reply of a code 10 – 12. This is the next 10
code to consider during this 10th month, October. This code indicates that one
must “stand by” before a proper response can be given. Waiting never seems to
be easy but is often necessary to move forward in the best possible manner.
Waiting often allows all things to fall into proper place.
Do you ever feel that heaven seems to be silent and your
prayers are being answered repeatedly with a code 10 – 12? The only messages
that come is to standby, be patient, not yet or in due season. Having received
the initial pieces of a plan from God, we may be ready to hit the floor
running. The problem can be that we do not have the direction of where to go or
instructions of just exactly what we are to do next. So now the praying,
listening and waiting begins or continues depending on where in the process we
are. This stage can seem to linger on and on.
There can be many reasons for a code 10 – 12
response from God. One of the primary reasons is that we are not yet ready for
this next step. God may be building character within us. God may have plans
that we are not yet ready for. Standby times often cause the fruit of the spirit
to mature within us. We can learn to patiently wait in a way that allows us to
grow in God and develop hope. “Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.”
(Psalm 27:14 AMP) He will answer us.
Sometimes the wait has nothing to do with us. Other
people are intricately involved in our lives and ministry. In order for God’s
perfect plan to be worked out, everyone involved must be ready and brought into
unity. God will bring all things around, not only for our best, but for the
best of all involved. As we wait, we can continue to pray for those around us.
During these times of waiting we must remain
faithful. We continue with what we already know that God has called us to do.
We believe that hard times will end and we will move forward if we do not quit
being faithful. “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall
reap, if we do not loosen and
relax our courage and faint.” (Galatians
6:9 AMP) When we receive a code 10 – 12 transmission, we just keep on keeping
on with what we know to do and believe the promise that our “due season” is
coming.
At all times we are to look to Jesus. In times of waiting it can be
especially important to remember the promises that have been given to us. We
can look forward beyond our current situation. “Awaiting
and looking for the
[fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing
of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One),” (Titus 2:13 AMP) As Christians we always have the hope of the return of
Jesus and the eternal life ahead of us. Current situations become small in
light of this great promise.
Standby
carries with it a promise of further communication. God will not remain silent
forever. We must remember that and not move forward until we hear from Him.
There is much at stake both for us and for others. At just the right moment,
and in just the right manner and at just the right place; God will speak and we
will joyfully hear His voice. We will rejoice in this promise. “He
has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in
men's hearts and minds [a
divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing
under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what
God has done from the beginning to the end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMP) We will look back and acknowledge that God knows
best.
So if you
feel that your questions and requests are not being answered, you may be
receiving a code 10 – 12 from the Father. This does not mean “no” but simply
“not yet.” Keep on with what you know to be right as you patiently, expectantly
wait for further instructions.
