The Correct Time (Living In 10 Codes 13)

Today is the end of this 10th month of October. This will also be the last entry in this series of looking at radio 10 codes. Because this upcoming weekend is when we here in the United States will turn our clocks back, I saved code 10 – 36, the correct time, for this final entry. A 10 – 36 may be requested to become aware of the time, to check and correct a personal timepiece or to synchronize one’s time with those of his or her associates.
The Bible discusses times and seasons. Some of these times we are to know and others we are not. Some of these times will be soon and some will be far off. God is in control of all time and will make clear to us whatever we need to know.
In several places, Scripture speaks of “now” times. While we may be holding on to the way that things have been, the Lord says, “Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 AMP) We are to synchronize our time with His, and walk in the new. The New Testament references a 10 – 36 for the most important time. “Behold, now is truly the time for a gracious welcome and acceptance [of you from God]; behold, now is the day of salvation!” (2 Corinthians 6:2b AMP) Jesus also referenced this 10 – 36 of now for salvation. “Do you not say, It is still four months until harvest time comes? Look! I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields and see how they are already white for harvesting.” (John 4:35 AMP) We who have already experienced His love must not put off telling others of all that Jesus has done for us. Hearts are open and ready to receive Jesus Christ now.
Another example of putting off what God has said to do occurs in the Old Testament. “Thus says the Lord of hosts: These people say, The time is not yet come that the Lord's house should be rebuilt [although Cyrus had ordered it done eighteen years before].” (Haggai 1:2 AMP) The Lord then expresses His displeasure with His people for building their own homes when He had enabled them to build the temple. We must be careful to stay on God’s timetable. We must place His desires above those of our own. There is a correct time for everything that we do.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, people who understand the times are valuable to the body of Christ. In the Old Testament people were noted and respected for this ability. “And of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do, 200 chiefs; and all their kinsmen were under their command;” (1 Chronicles 12:32 AMP) In the New Testament the religious leaders were reprimanded for not recognizing the times. You play actors (hypocrites)! You know how [intelligently] to discern and interpret and prove the looks of the earth and sky; but how is it that you do not know how to discern and interpret and apply the proof to this present time?” (Luke 12:56 AMP) The apostle Paul also spoke to the people who knew the importance of the time they were living in. “Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah).” (Romans 13:11 AMP) Today we also can be aware of the importance of our times by requesting a 10 – 36 from the Holy Spirit. This can be both for what God is doing on a grand scale throughout the world or what He is doing in our individual lives.
Not always are we to know the exact time. Sometimes when we request at 10 – 36, the Lord will gently tell us that He knows the time and we must trust Him. This can be concerning the end times. “But as the suitable times and the precise seasons and dates, brethren, you have no necessity for anything being written to you. For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the [return of the] Lord will come [as unexpectedly and suddenly] as a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 AMP) This can also be regarding specific circumstances in our own lives. Trusting God is the key to all the times of our lives. We can be sure that God always knows the 10 – 36. If we seek him through prayer and His word, He will share the correct time as we need to know it. He will always act at the best time. “While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly. Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor someone might even dare to die.” (Romans 5:6-7 AMP)

Be sure to check in with the Lord for the 10 – 36 of all the times of your life. Pay close attention in case the Lord moves the clock ahead or behind an hour on you. He still knows the best time.
